Tang Dynasty
standing four square on a pierced rectangular plinth with raised head slightly turned towards the left, hogged mane and no tail, the rider has a sturn expression wearing long flowing robes tied to the waist and a tall headdress, areas of orange, red, white and grey pigments remaining -- 12½in. (32cms) high.
