Lot Essay

Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt wears an identical dinner suit at the beginning of Mission: Impossible at the party at the Embassy in Prague. As part of the mission aimed at apprehending Alexander Golitsyn [Marcel Iures], he is to go to the party disguised as an aging Senator. Once in the Embassy in order to follow Golitsyn, he pulls off his mask and reverses his cream-coloured dinner jacket to reveal a black jacket identical to the one in the following lot.
