2 volumes, 12° (178 x 103mm.), additional engraved title, printed titles in red and black, 21 engraved plates, one folding, all by Bernard Picart, 19th-century brown morocco gilt by Hardy-Mennil, sides with triple fillet gilt border and panel, central gilt armorial, spines with raised bands, lettered in one compartment and at foot of spine, the other compartments elaborately decorated with floral and foliate motifs, gilt edges, gilt turn-ins. Provenance: Hilary Crésy (bookplate).
