2° (318 x 213mm.), engraved frontispiece, woodcut headpieces (title lightly soiled, 3U1 with long but closed tear, lightly spotted, a few leaves lightly browned), 18th-century calf, Chetwynd arms in gilt on sides (extremities rubbed and covers lightly scuffed), marbled edges. Provenance: Greorgius Ludovicus Wray (bookplate).

FIRST COLLECTED EDITION containing 36 plays. "This edition, which is said to have been edited by Shirley though the amount of revision he did is not known, contains all of the hitherto unpublished plays by Beaumont and Fletcher except the Wild-Goose Chase, the manuscript of this last having been lost."
