12 volumes, 8° (190 x 120mm.), half titles (some light spotting), BOUND FOR MARIE-LOUISE, EMPRESS OF THE FRENCH, in contemporary red morocco gilt, covers with roll tool decorative borders, crowned 'M L' blocked on covers, spine divided into five unequal compartments by horizontal gilt bands, lettered in the second and third, small flowerhead tool in the second and fourth, gilt turn-ins, blue watered silk doublures and liners, gilt edges (small section chipped from foot of spine of vol.
