Lot Essay
This teddy was found on Skegness beach in the early 1900s, where his first owner had lost him. He did find a good home and spent a very happy and full life with his family.

with blonde mohair, prounced clipped muzzle, black boot button eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs and hump --11¾in. (30cm.) high, circa 1908 (worn front, back and one ear, front seam re-sewn, pads recovered)
