with white mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, brown stitched noes, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with felt pads and hump --14in. (35.5cm.) high, circa 1909 (neck joint repaired with large patch, large patches to arms, legs and back with holes and years, worn head, small hole in snout and general wear) and a suitcase containing greetings cards, scarves, lace and ornaments

Lot Essay
Dearheart was found in a farmhouse attic in Devon, along with her suitcase of bits and pieces. The cards would indicate that her first owner was called Elsie (husband Harry and son John).
