with blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, swivel head, jointed limbs and blank button in ear wearing a white metal animal collar inscribed 'Sans peur et sans reproche' (translates 'Without fear or care') --9¾in. (25cm.) high, circa 1904 (very worn, large hole in both side of face, lacks stuffing and pads repaired), an early Steiff monkey --20½in. (52cm.) high (face patched, hands and feet damaged, bald patch to side of head, missing ear and tail and other wear), a cotton teddy bear (missing arms and eyes, worn),two composition bears carrying milk bottle --1½in. (4cm.) high (damaged), a Black Forest carved wood seated bear --2¼in. (6cm.) high and a homemade painted 'Bears Cottage' house name board (7)
