A pair of American teddy bear
each with blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, brown stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump and growler, possibly Ideal --20¾in. (52.5cm.) high, circa 1905 (colour faded and discoloured to grey, some splitting to felt pads, general overall wear and a few small bald patches)

Lot Essay

These two bears belonged to Doreen Holly who was born around 1900. She was given them in 1905 and they were named 'Holly' and 'Morris'.
