A rare Steiff musical chimpanzee
with brown mohair, brown and black glass eyes, felt face with open mouth and ears, white mohair chin, swivel head, jointed limbs with felt hands and feet, red felt disc on front, pressure operated musical mechanism and 'US Zone' cloth tag in leg seam --12in. (31cm.) high, 1950s (two bald small bald patches on bacl, slight thinning to forehead and hole in ear caused be removal of button)
