A mid-19th Century mahogany aromatherapy chest,
originally an esecretaire, the interior is divided into sections, the middle, largest section containing twenty-four white-water bottles with bauble stoppers --3¾in. (9.5cm.) high, the two side compartments containing such aromatherapy oils and scents as Lavendar and Apple Blossom, the brass-bound and handled case has a plaque inscribed, M Parker, from her affte daughter E. Parker, Feby 5th 1859--21in. (53.3cm.) wide
