A late 19th-Century brass model single cylinder horizontal mill engine,
probably by Stephen's Model Dockyard with cylinder approximately 7/8in. bore x 1in. stroke, centrally mounted valve chest, forked connecting rod, waisted crank, eccentric driven feed pump (later), spoked flywheel and multi-rope pulley, finished in red and polished brightwork, brass bed and eboonised wooden plinth --4¾ x 11¾in. (12 x 29.8cm.)
