An unusual 3½in. gauge model of the 3ft. gauge Belfast and Northern Counties Railway (Ballymena and Larne Section) S Class 2-4-2 ST locomotive No. 70,
built by H.Vickers with brazed superheated copper boiler (superheater not fitted) with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, clack and other valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, footplate controlled draincocks, scotch crank driven feed pump and bypass injector, displacement lubricator, whistle, dummy brake gear, running board jacks, coal in baskets and bunkers, finished in green with yellow and red lining -- 12 x 33in. (30.5 x 84cm.). Boiler certificate valid to 15.5.95; driving wheel pattern; display track; carrying box.
