An early 17th-Century gilt-brass [?] sandglass frame,
comprised of two horizontal circular bands held in four uprights cast as a naked female form supporting the finial as her headpiece, above a foliate-decorated section terminating in leaf-shaped feet, the lower band with two small catches -- 5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) high
