La fodera sottostante l'imbottitura reca il nome Jansen, Paris. Jean-Henri Jansen iniziò la sua produzione nel 1880, con sede a Parigi; fu insignito della medaglia d'argento in entrambe le Esposizioni Universali di Amsterdam del 1883 e Parigi del 1889. Divenne inoltre fornitore della Real Casa di Spagna, per cui realizzò mobili in stile.
