Lot Essay

Private William Stotter served in the First Sikh War and was entitled to the Sutlej Medal for Moodkee, with clasps for 'Ferozeshuhur' and 'Sobraon'. In the Punjab Campaign he was wounded on 3.12.1848 during the crossing of the Chenab and died on 4.2.1851.
