Sergeant Benjamin George Miller, who was from Whitechapel, London, was discharged from 131 Heavy Battery, R.G.A. in late October 1918, aged 47 years. In addition to his Silver War Badge, he is verified as having been awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre (London Gazette 15.4.1918 refers).
