Private Thomas Heathcote, who was from Sutton-in-Ashton, Mansfield, was killed in action, France and Flanders, on 17.7.1915, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.

Private William Hatchett, who was from Leicester, was killed in action on the Somme on 18.11.1916, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.
