Sold with a quantity of original documentation and other family awards, the former including the recipient's Commission Warrant for the rank of Temporary 2nd Lieutenant and a Home Guard Certificate of Service for the period May 1940 until December 1944; and the latter a Memorial Plaque to Stephen Arthur Herbert Codd (a 2nd Lieutenant, attached 10th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment, who was killed in action on the Western Front on 9.9.1916), a Special Constabulary Faithful Service Medal, G.V.R. to Ernest A. Codd, and a Lusitania Medal.
