essay 1912 sheetlet of four essays, letter-press printed from zinc line-blocks prepared by Rudolph Steel of Melbourne, comprising Kangaroo in rose-carmine, 5/- in black and rose-carmine (the issued colours of the £2), 10/- in purple and rose-carmine and 20/- in yellow-green and rose-carmine, all four struck on piece of cream wove paper (116x93mm.) initialled "CR" in pencil at lower left corner; a few small thins in places and traces of fox spots at lower right corner, all well clear of the stamp impressions. Lovely strong vibrant colours and highly attractive. A very rare sheetlet of which only eight colour combinations are recorded. Brusden White KE 24Da. Photo
