INTERPOSTAL SEALS: 1864-91, a valuable and extensive unused (predominantly) and used collection arranged on stockbook cards in a ring-fitting binder representing a good degree of completion against Ernest A. Kehr's listing in the Billig Handbook (Volume 21). The collection consists of about 2000 examples of which about 750 are cancelled, Types I to XI are represented to varying degrees with scarcer Types I (6), II (16) and III/a/b/c (over 120), IV/a/b (about 80) and V/a/b/c/d (over 180); many "Offices Abroad" are included with Gedda, Jaffa, Cavalla, Bairouth, Dardanelli, Gallipoli, Lagos, Metelino, Volo, Latachia, Mersina, Tripoli and Offices in Sudan, also Kilometro 83 and Sezio Economato; generally fine.
