VAT rate of 5% is payable on hammer price plus bu… Read more The 1930 Rheinstein "Eine Reichsmark" The Rheinstein "Eine Reichsmark" stamp was prepared for issue in 1930 but, owing to abundant existing stocks of the 1924 "Eine Mark" stamp of the same design, was never issued. Up until 1991, there was only one sheet of this stamp known, and this was split up when it appeared on the market in 1944. In 1991 two complete sheets were discovered. Of these two sheets, one is offered herewith and is in the olive-green colour similar to the first sheet found in 1944 with the imprint showing that it is from Plate 1a. The other sheet, which is now with the Bundesdruckerei in Berlin, is intact and is in a distinctive black blue-green shade with imprint showing that it is from Plate 1b
