4o (207 x 142 mm). Collation: a-o8. 112 leaves. Gothic types 1:160 (title and larger headings), 2:91 (text), 3:91 (headings on a3r-v). 31 lines. Capital spaces, with printed guide-letters. 3- to 5-line initials supplied in red, paragraph marks, and capital strokes in red. (Title slightly browned, some minor marginal spotting, a few marginal wormholes.)

Binding: contemporary South German deerskin-backed wooden boards, leather stamped in blind with Kopfstempel tools, possibly by Johannes Rucker, Ingolstadt (K 62), vellum manuscript partial pastedowns (lower board renewed, lacking clasp). Provenance: Taesomensis? Convent, Franciscan order (early inscription on title) -- Estelle Doheny (moroccco bookplate; purchased from Dawson's Bookshop, Los Angeles, 1 November 1943) -- donated to SMS November 1943.

FIRST EDITION. A rare work directed against the Hussites, discussing current troubles in Bohemia.
