Initial spaces, mostly with guide-letters, a few initials supplied in black or red. Woodcut illustration on title. (Some staining, tiny portion of woodcut supplied in facsimile.) Modern blind-stamped calf. Provenance: early ink marginalia and notations -- Charles Thomas Stanford (bookplate) -- Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplate; purchased from Dawson's Bookshop, London, 23 June 1941) -- donated to SMS 1941.
