Contemporary blind-tooled calf over pasteboard, endleaves from an incunable edition of Nicolaus de Lyra's Postilla super Bibliam (spine labels on vols. III and IV lacking, some wear at extremities). Provenance: the library of the Earls of Ferrers, Chaunto Harold, Ashby-de-la Zouche, Robert Shirley (bookplates) -- Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplates; purchased from Maggs Bros., London, 9 August 1943) -- donated to SMS 1943.
