Tipped in are 1) A TLS ("Theodore Roosevelt") as President, to F. Hendricks, Washington, 27 November 1902. 1 page, 4to, White House stationery, integral blank. Regretting he will is unable to attend a dedication. 2) ANS ("T. Roosevelt") to the Sec. of War, n.p., [circa 1898]. 1 page, 8vo, repaired. Roosevelt notes that both General Dodge and General Weston want Captain Gallagher to be promoted to a line officer. (2)
