A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD, MARQUETRY AND PARQUETRY OCCASIONAL TABLE
Late 19th/20th Century
The veined liver repaired oval marble top and three-quarter pierced gallery above a frieze drawer with a leather-lined writing slide, flanked by an inkwell compartment lacking implement, on cabriole legs headed by flowerhead mounts and joined by a concave-fronted undertier inlaid with a foliate branch and terminating in sabots, the under side of the drawer bearing a false stamp 'P. Garnier'
28¼ in. (72 cm.) high, 19¼ in. (49 cm.) wide and 14 in. (36 cm.) deep.
