A RUSSIAN ORMOLU AND CUT-GLASS TWELVE-LIGHT CHANDELIER
19th Century
The two hexagonal coronas hung with obelisk-shaped drops and linked by chains of further drops, the lower tier with pierced metal gallery and issuing twelve branches with pierced drip-pans, surmounted by droplet-hung palmettes, the central chains replaced, some further losses and replacements to other elements, particularly glass drops
48 in. (122 cm.) high; 32 in. (82 cm.) diam.
