A PAIR OF FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED DARK-BLUE-GROUND PORCELAIN VASES AND COVERS
Late 19th Century
The short ormolu cylindrical necks pierced with roundels of flowerheads divided by husks between engine-turned borders, the curved lower parts with radiating acanthus leaves on waisted spreading stems, circular feet cast with berried laurel leaves and drapery, on square bases, the shallow domed covers with ormolu cone and radiating foliate finials, both lids with Pietro Accorsi trade label numbered '1034' in blue ink, the covers extensively restored
