A CONTINENTAL NEOCLASSIC STYLE BIRD'S-EYE MAPLE DRESSING-TABLE
Late 19th Century
The shaped hinged rectangular top inlaid with stringing, rosettes and anthemia opening to a mirror plate centered with an eglomisé clock over an adjustable lined writing slope surrounded by niches and two velvet lined dressing article fitted wells above an incurved frieze fitted with a long drawer with divided wells and raised on lyre form supports and down-scrolled legs united by a molded stretcher
