Last tasted 2 January 1997. Aromas of minerals, butter, even bacon fat, quite compelling. On palate middle-weight, buttery, with flavors of dried plums; ripe, with prominent acid, moderately tannic, with a "pork fat" finish. In retrospect, a delicious "meat dish" on its own. FH
