The porcelain Kangxi (1662-1722)
Each decorated with flower-filled baskets, the circular slightly domed lid with a scrolling handle and moulded edge, the cup-shaped body with a moulded foliated rim and on a spreading gadrooned base, within a contemporary rectangular rosewood box with a blue silk-lined interior, the box with later escutcheon and missing lock
The box: 7 in. (918 cm.) high; 10 in. (25.5 cm.) wide; 7¼ in. (18.5 cm.) deep;
the lidded jars: one 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; 4¾ in. (12 cm.) diam.; the other 6 in. (15 cm.) high; 4¼ in. (11 cm.) diam. (2)
