A pair of Meissen models of Bullfinches
Circa 1745
Modelled by J.J. Kändler to the left and right with black heads, tails and wings, with red-brown breasts and grey backs perched astride tree-stumps, the bases lightly enriched in green (the left hand example with part of tail lacking and minute chipping to claws and beak, the other with chip to beak and slight chipping to foliage)
