A Swansea famille rose part dessert-service
Circa 1820
Outline-printed and enamelled with flowering plants issuing from pierced blue rockwork within an orange band gilt with prunus and cracked-ice ornament and a border of trailing flowers beneath a gilt spearhead rim, comprising:
A shaped rectangular footed centre-dish (restoration to foot)
A shaped rectangular two-handled dish (crack to rim)
A shallow shaped rectangular dish (smaller)
A shell-shaped dish (crack near handle)
Two plates (one with extended firing crack to underside, slight rubbing to gilt rims throughout) (6)
