A pair of Swansea side-plates from the Lysaght service
Circa 1820
Painted by Henry Morris with a basket of luxuriant garden flowers on a pillar, with a trailing flower-spray below, within a dark-blue border richly gilt with diaper panels, C-scrolls with pendant foliage, above a band of scroll ornament, between gilt-line rims (some minute scratching to enamels, slight rubbing to gilding, the body slightly stained)
