A Chinese landscape scroll
18th century
painted in ink and colour on silk, depicting figures on terraces and balconies of shrines set amongst pine, willow and rockwork in a mountainous river landscape, inscription above the painting reads 'Spring Awakening in the Han Palace' purportedly by the Southern Song artist Zhao Qianli -- 44in. x 20in. (111.7cms x 50.8cms), inscribed and sealed, (creasing and old wear).
