Raised on a plinth elaborately chased with sea-monsters and rocaille centering a vacant cartouche on either side, rising to a stem applied with nautical motifs, including two anchors and two cannons with several cannonballs, supporting a vase-form cup, chased with strapwork, flowers and four bearded masks, the domed cover similarly chased and surmounted by a finial in the form of Jolly Jack Tar at the helm of a ship, marked on plinth, cup, stem, cover and finial
