Second quarter 19th century
Enamelled in a rich famille rose palette with a central court scene showing noblemen and ladies at leisure in a garden pavilion, a couple seated at a table playing a board game, a woman to the side holding a basket of peaches suspended from a branch, around the sides inside and out smaller palace scenes alternating with vignettes of birds and butterflies amidst fruiting and flowering boughs
