A VICTORIAN WALNUT, BOXWOOD AND MARQUETRY SIDE CABINET
Mid 19th century
The shaped grey-veined white marble top over a grille-inset door enclosing one shelf, flanked by ionic columns and a curved door to each side each enclosing one shelf, all of the doors are lined with pleated cream-silk, inlaid overall with scrolling foliate tendrils, with a white chalk inscription BLOOM STORE? and a number 463/9, the beechwood columns were probably originally ebonized
35in. (89cm.) high, 65½in. (166cm.) wide, 19in. (48.5cm.) deep
