St. John and Jesus Christ standing in the River Jordan, John sprinkling the holy water on Christ's bowed head as the Holy Spirit rises above them, all within a wide Delft style border of putti in fruiting and flowering vine held by ribbons in an eagle's beak, two further putti at the bottom holding a banner inscribed MAT.3.16.
