A CHINESE IMARI BARBER'S BOWL
First half 18th century
Painted in the center in tones of iron-red, cobalt blue and gilt with a mountainous autumn riverscape, a gilt ruyi-head border repeated in iron-red around the wide rim with further landscape, the reverse with landscape vignettes, numerous fruiting and flowering iron-red and gilt boughs and an iron-red whorl border around the foot
11¾in. (29.8cm.) diam.
