Each finely painted front and back in tones of grisaille and silver with a large coat-of-arms for Saunders, showing three elephant heads on the shield and another as the crest above a shaded blue and gilt helmet, all against iron-red and shaded white mantling suspending gilt tassels, a formal grisaille and gilt border under the rim
