Mary Lisa Palmer of the Association Alberto and Annette Giacometti has kindly confirmed the authenticity of this work.

According to Mrs Palmer, Vera and Anita (possibly Anita Singer) were close friends of Alberto Giacometti, mentioned in the artist's carnets.
