A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD, KINGWOOD AND PARQUETRY COMMODE, of Louis XV style, the carcase possibly 18th century
Inlaid overall with trellis parquetry, the associated moulded shaped rectangular top above two drawers centred by a shaped rosette, the keeled angles headed by C-scrolls and cabochons, above cabriole legs terminating in rockwork sabots, remounted, a 5in. section of the back right leg replaced, inscribed 'P, 4022', reveneered
