A CARVED GILTWOOD AND GESSO CONSOLE, 19TH CENTURY, FRENCH, POSSIBLY ITALIAN, IN THE ROCOCO STYLE
With later moulded serpentine top with rounded corners, the frieze with incised trellis and dot ornament centred by cabochon floral spray on cabriole scroll legs with palmette carved knees joined by a cabochon cartouche below on scroll and spool feet, the back of the frieze stamped 'BANNIEA'
