The brass bound mahogany rectangular case with drop loop handle to reverse, the hinged cover with vacant central cartouche, the interior lined and fitted with green parcel-gilt tooled leather, with mirror glass hinged and opening to a folded pocket behind, the compartments containing four ivory mounted steel blade shaving knifes, steel oval dish, various cut glass eau de cologne bottles, flasks, a scent bottle, two inkwells, a parcel-gilt porcelain tea pot, two cannisters with lids and two cylinderical cups, two cut spirit glasses, two steel corkscrews, two hanging hooks, two turned horn and ivory inlaid pill boxes, with key, basically early 19th century
