The top and base possibly associated, the crossbanded top inset with a panel of brown tooled leather with a gilt anthemion border containing four drawers in the frieze between dummy drawers on ring-turned baluster column with quadruped, hipped, splayed legs with roundel ornament and foliate carved knees crossbanded in rosewood with brass paw cappings and castors
