Tasting note: Tasted 13 times since 1954. Very consistent notes. Glorious colour: warm orange amber, light powdery sediment (worth decanting for the beauty of its colour alone); bouquet sheer perfection; orange peal, peach and orange blossom, soft, harmonious; very sweet still, medium-full body, soft, plump, fleshy masking volatile acidity (result of fermentation in very hot conditions).
