Not heavyweight like the 1959 vintage but supple, elegant more tautly refreshing. A sauternes to keep and drink.
Tasting note: Consistently good notes. Now a deepish amber; marvellous fruit variously noted as mandarin, ripe peaches, honey and orange blossom; not overpoweringly sweet, a nice weight, intense, elegant, good acidity. M.B.
