Portraits of a gentleman and a lady, bust-length, in profile

The present works conform to a type of portraiture used in decorative schemes in the 15th and 16th centuries, and can be compared to a group of twelve portraits of nearly identical size now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art datable to circa 1477-91.
